My vote would go for the boss ME series even though i switched to a tonelab for a while i feel now the tonelab lacked smoothness and leaved a signature bite character no matter the context lol.

Oh and i never found the features of the GT to be that impressive, certainly not enough to warrant the extra cash and more tedious interface. I will admit though those gt10s look mighty pretty lol

I've used a DigiTech RP50 but that hardly counts in the high-end range so I won't vote that. From what I've heard from other guitarist friends, the Line 6 PODs are supposed to be the best out there?

My vote goes to Line 6. I have a Pod XT PRO with the 3 Model packs and I love it. For home recording it´s amazing (and for live too)

I have a POD XT LIVE its sweet for learning how to really create a tone tweaking tone and adding personality to a tone fun easy to use. Only thing i wish i had is a sound board/studio then it would be sweeeeeet.

Apologies for my fairly long absence, I've been away on holiday :D

It appears the Line 6 machines are dominating the poll? :)
